Addition and alteration of an existing, residence in Upper Montclair, NJ.

Construction of the addition involved raising the roof for a Master Bedroom, Master Bath, Master WIC and Guest Bedroom.

The design provided for contemporary interior finishes including:

• wide plank walnut wood flooring,
• a new open stairwell with a custom iron railing and leather wall covering,
• a new kitchen with commercial grade appliances and
• modern “storefront” windows and doors.

Also the use of the window and doors along with a rain screen assembly cladded in cedar with an exterior master balcony with steel cable railing finishes the exterior.
